January 2023: News Letter

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your patience as we continue to make improvements to Cajun Haven RV Park. We understand that any construction or renovation can be disruptive, and we greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.

We are thrilled to announce that we have recently completed several upgrades, including the installation of new electrical and water hookups, the construction of a new washateria facility, and the construction of a new pavilion. We are constantly striving to enhance the quality of your stay and make your time at Cajun Haven RV Park as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We need your help:

We have made huge strides to make the park look the best it can. We still need your help policing up litter and not leaving trash out overnight.

We also encourage everyone to wash their campers before the weather gets too cold. For a small fee the front office can coordinate someone to clean your camper for you if you don’t have the time.

Coming Soon:

  • Washateria should be up in running in a couple weeks. We had some setbacks with permitting but we believe we should be back on track.

  • Bathhouse: Our goal is to have it operational as soon as possible.

  • Power to the Pavilion is currently being worked on.

Excited to Announce:

Large drainage pipe was installed to the pond. This will help drain the area around the washeteria and the back of the apartments in the front of the park.

As you notice the big sign for the new truck stop was installed. We project the truck stop to be open around March or April of 2023

As the cooler months approach, we wanted to remind you of a few important things to keep in mind to ensure your RV is ready for winter storage.

  1. Clean and dry your RV thoroughly before the winter. This will prevent mold and mildew from growing inside and causing damage to your RV.

  2. Check all of the seals and seals on your RV to make sure they are tight and in good condition. This will help keep out the cold and moisture during the winter months.

  3. If we get below freezing, drain all of the water lines in your RV to prevent freezing and bursting during the winter.

We are committed to ensuring that our RV park is a safe, clean and comfortable place for you to call home. Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We are excited to share the finished product with you and we look forward to your continued stay.
